End Domestic and Family Violence

The Queensland Government is taking action to end domestic and family violence and is committed to implementing the recommendations from the Not Now, Not Ever: Putting an end to domestic and family violence in Queensland report.

The recently released Third Action Plan 2019-20 to 2021-22 (PDF, 1.1 MB) continues to build on the significant work of Queensland’s domestic and family violence reform program has delivered since 2015.

As the state’s largest employer the Queensland Government is making a big contribution towards ending domestic and family violence, by supporting affected colleagues and creating a safe, respectful and supportive workplace culture.

DITID uses workplace practices to take action to prevent and respond to violence against women, and partners with other organisations on domestic and family violence prevention initiatives.
