Innovation industry support

We are listening and understand that the COVID-19 crisis is impacting our innovation industry.

The Queensland Government has announced the first stage of the state’s economic reset, The Queensland Economic Recovery Strategy: Unite and Recover for Queensland Jobs to help the State recover from COVID-19 with a focus on backing Queensland jobs.

$100 million small business, grants and training package

Queensland small businesses can also now apply for a grant of up to $10,000 under a new $100 million package to help them counter the impact of COVID-19.

Advance Queensland

The Advance Queensland (AQ) initiative supports Queensland innovators to succeed and stay resilient even in times of economic hardship.

The AQ team is filtering content relevant to you and working with other groups like the Queensland Office of the Chief Entrepreneur to refine and simplify our messages. The AQ startup support page highlights resources available to startups and where to find those relevant to you.

We will continue to edit, review and update the content along with COVID-19 response requirements.

Queenslanders are not afraid of a challenge and during times of adversity we find a way to shine. The AQ website is showcasing some of the many Queenslanders fighting back with innovation, collaboration and flexibility.

Read about tech start ups reaching out to support parents and students who are facing a whole new way of learning. Discover regions offering free counselling to those Queenslanders that need the strength to rebuild our tourism industry. Find inspiration from training programs adapting to virtual models, can their resilience inspire you?

Resources, case studies and latest innovation industry updates are all available on the Advance Queensland website.
