QCN Fibre boosts connectivity for Goondiwindi
Internet capacity for Goondiwindi locals and businesses such as agtech startup InFarm are set to receive a major boost through backhaul provider QCN Fibre.
In Goondiwindi QCN Fibre has partnered with Channel Wireless and local internet service provider CBN to speed up the town’s internet and data services.
Working together with CBN, InFarm are looking to connect their supercomputer at a mini data centre that will provide a faster and more economical connection – a significant boost for their business.
QCN Fibre’s lower prices are expected to attract new internet service providers, and enable existing providers to buy more capacity.
Established by the Queensland Government, QCN Fibre was set up to boost regional business development, by working with telecommunications carriers and internet service providers to connect underused parts of the Government-owned network.
