Backing research to tackle Queensland’s big challenges
The Queensland Government is awarding $7.62 million to support 35 Queensland researchers across a range of emerging industries in year’s Advance Queensland Industry Research Fellowships.
From decreasing plastic in landfill to developing a more accurate diagnostic for prostate cancer, the Advance Queensland Industry Research Fellowships are focused on generating real-life application and investment to the state.
Working with industry partners and Queensland universities, the fellows work on a three-year project that will have a positive impact for Queensland.
The 2020 Advance Queensland Industry Research Fellowships are now open, with applications closing on 21 April 2002. For further information and to see the full list of this year’s recipients, visit the Advance Queensland website.
